Three Racists We Should Denounce

Racists are a scourge.  Here and now, without further delay, we should denounce three racists who had the temerity to preach loudly against the principles of equity and critical race theory.

“I hate the practice of race discrimination, and in my hatred I am sustained by the fact that the overwhelming majority of mankind hate it equally.  I hate the systematic inculcation of children with colour prejudice and I am sustained in that hatred by the fact that the overwhelming majority of mankind, here and abroad, are with me in that.”  [Nelson Mandela, November 7, 1962]

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”  [Martin Luther King, Jr., August 28, 1963]

“to wish away the resentments of white Americans, to label them as misguided or even racist, without recognizing they are grounded in legitimate concerns — this too widens the racial divide and blocks the path to understanding.”  [Presidential candidate Barak H. Obama, March 18, 2008]

We should erase their hateful voices from our memories.

This is what the people who control our lives and fortunes are teaching our children.
