Douglass Mackey Is Not Barak Obama

On January 22, 2021, an FBI Agent signed a Complaint And Affidavit under oath, for filing in in the United States District Court in Brooklyn.  It is a criminal Complaint against Douglass Mackey.  On January 27, 2021, Douglass Mackey was arrested.

The FBI Agent swore that Douglass Mackey violated Title 18, United States Code, Section 241.  Section 241 says:

If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same; or

If two or more persons go in disguise on the highway, or on the premises of another, with intent to prevent or hinder his free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege so secured —

They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.

The FBI Agent swore that Douglass Mackey violated Section 241 by his “use of social media to spread disinformation relevant to the impending 2016 Presidential Election”.  The FBI Agent swore that spreading disinformation about the election “constituted criminal infringement of the right to vote”.

Really?  If only those sworn statements were true AND always were criminally enforced against every politician and every member of the media.

Doesn’t the FBI know that Barak Obama spread disinformation during the 2008 Presidential election?

  • ”The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.”  (He bombed at least seven Middle East nations.)
  • Signing Statements are a “clear abuse” of Executive power.  (He used many Signing Statements.)
  • “I’ve said repeatedly that I intend to close Guantanamo and I will follow through on that.  I’ve said repeatedly that America doesn’t torture, and I’m going to make sure that we don’t torture.  Those are part and parcel of an effort to regain America’s moral stature in the world.”  (He did not close Guantanamo.)

Non-Essential Workers

Our nation has been brought to its knees.  By whom?  By China, our government, our Fourth Estate?  Yes.

Imagine this.  You lead an honorable life.  You obey all laws.  After graduating from high school, you work for several employers in several retail businesses for several years, you invest your life savings in a small business of your own, you marry and raise a family.  You’re sufficiently successful to be able to support your family, even afford health insurance and two weeks vacation each year.  You teach your children pride and the value of hard work, and instill in them the dream of attending college.  Then, WHAM!  China infects our nation with a deadly disease.  Our government and Fourth Estate create rules that they say are necessary to protect our nation, to protect even you.  The rules require you to close your business and stay inside your home with your family at all times, not allowing any visitors.  You’re scared.  You’re confused.

You don’t understand why the rules don’t apply to people working in the government and the Fourth Estate.  You don’t understand why the rules don’t apply to the hordes of people who burn and pillage businesses across our nation.  You especially don’t understand why the rules don’t apply to our government’s two top health officials, the ones who created the rules.

You’re not alone.  You’re one of tens of millions of us who also don’t understand, who also are called Non-Essential Workers.  Non-Essential?  Really?

You think of yourself as Essential, as does your family.  But you can’t help thinking about what might have been.  If only you had become a bathroom attendant or bathroom matron in the employ of Congress, maybe even a photocopy machine operator.  Then you too would have been Essential.

What’s the lesson?  In Animal Farm, George Orwell taught us the lesson: “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”

May the day soon come when everyone believes everyone is Essential.

American Exceptionalism

American Exceptionalism!  It’s long been our badge of honor.  It’s the Blue Ribbon that’s decorated our hearts and minds for longer than any of us can remember.  It’s the reason why we re-elect our politicians with near-guaranteed certainty.  They earn it, every day, year-in and year-out, for far less compensation than they could earn in the private sector.  We owe them permanent control over our lives and property, as an expression of our gratitude.  Without them, how would we be able to trust our government, our Fourth Estate, and our fellow Americans?

Oops!  Wait a minute.  Is any of that true?  Don’t we distrust our government, our Fourth Estate, and half of our fellow Americans?

Who’s responsible?  All of us say half of us are.  Who can fix things?  All of us say only half of us can.  Who lies, cheats, steals, maligns, and discriminates?  All of us say half of us do.  Who is a true American?  All of us say only half of us are.

This is the gift we’ve been given by those who control our lives and property.  Along with inner city schools that fail our children year-in and year-out.  Along with politicians believing our elections are corrupt, and officially objecting to the results of our Presidential elections in 2000, 2004, 2016, and 2020.  Along with Seattle ceding part of its territory to an armed group of unidentified people, and assisting the group in establishing an autonomous zone unencumbered by law.  Along with politicians telling us all day every day that our nation is controlled by unethical, dishonest, incompetent, racist politicians.

We should believe them.  Politicians know more about politicians than any of us know.  They live together, work together, party together, divvy up our money together, and control our lives together.

So far, none of it has caught our attention in any meaningful way.  We tell our politicians that we really don’t care very much about any of it.  We almost always re-elect almost all of them.  What message does that send to them?  Loud and clear!

We’re content with the way things are, with the way things are headed.  That’s the reality of American Exceptionalism today.

May we one day soon return to the American Exceptionalism of yesterday.

New Year 2021, A Time To Reflect

Happy New Year!  We’re alive.  We’re blessed with the possibility of health, happiness, and hope.  We’re blessed with the opportunity to remember where we began, observe where we are now, and consider where we’d like to be tomorrow.

Let’s remember where we began.  On April 19, 1775, in the Battles of Lexington and Concord, we fired our first shots of our Revolutionary War against our government.  On July 4, 1776, in our Declaration of Independence, we unilaterally declared that we are “Absolved from all Allegiance to” our government.  We enforced our absolution by the bloody force of arms, in a war that lasted until Great Britain formally recognized our independence in the Treaty of Paris in 1783.  Tens of thousands were killed in action and captured as prisoners of war.  In our 1789 Constitution, we created our United States of America.  Our Constitution included the centerpiece of democracy, our precious right to vote.  Throughout our history, we recognized that our Constitution created an imperfect right to vote.  We repeatedly rose to cure the imperfections: the Reconstruction Amendments, the 19th Amendment, the Supreme Court’s principle of One Person One Vote, and the Voting Rights Act.  Our precious right to vote absolved us of having to resort to the bloody force of arms, if we ever found it necessary to heed the warning in our Declaration of Independence: “Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed … whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government … when a long train of abuses and usurpations … evinces a design to reduce them [the governed] under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”  With our precious right to vote, we’ve done exactly that throughout our history, without any use of the bloody force of arms.  We’ve done exactly that, by exercising our precious right to vote.  We’ve refused to re-elect politicians who we’ve chosen to “throw off”.  We’ve elected politicians who we’ve chosen to be our “new Guards”.  Our beginning was a blessing.

Let’s observe where we are now.  What is the condition of our precious right to vote now?

  • Politicians allow George Soros, Sheldon Adelson, Mark Zuckerberg, Charles Koch, Jeff Bezos, Larry Page, Rupert Murdoch, and Jack Dorsey immeasurably more influence over elections than any ordinary One Person’s One Vote.
  • The 17th Amendment says “The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, elected by the people thereof”.  Politicians allowed non-residents of Georgia to spend half a billion dollars to influence two January 2021 Senatorial elections in Georgia.
  • The Supreme Court says money is speech and says corporations are people, and politicians allow corporations to spend unlimited amounts of money to influence elections far more than any ordinary human being.
  • By repeatedly commencing litigation, politicians tell us that politicians repeatedly attempt to illegally influence elections by unconstitutional gerrymandering.
  • By creating a legal system that allows politicians to make meaningless campaign promises and to lie with impunity, politicians made it impossible for us to engage in informed voting.
  • Politicians repeatedly tell us that our system of voting is unreliable or fraudulent.  Georgia’s losing 2018 gubernatorial candidate told us she lost because of voter suppression.  American’s losing 2016 Presidential candidate told us she lost because of Russian interference.  American’s losing 2000 Presidential candidate told us he lost because of “hanging chad” in Florida.  America’s landslide winning 1972 Presidential candidate Nixon told us … “expletive deleted”.
  • We repeatedly end up electing a politician who is a liar, scoundrel, racist, or something despicable … according to the losing politician.
  • Senators and Members of Congress repeatedly tell us they do not trust that our nation’s individual States are ready, willing, and able to protect our precious right to vote.  Senators and Members of Congress formally objected to the electoral vote counts certified by individual States in our presidential elections of George W. Bush (2004), Donald Trump (2016), and Joe Biden (2020).

Let’s consider where we’d like to be tomorrow.  For me, the first step is clear.  It’s the creation, implementation, and protection of a voting system that is worthy of universal trust, free of the influence of money, imposes serious consequences for meaningless campaign promises and lies, and permits a politician to be elected only by the votes and voices of human beings who comprise the politician’s constituency.

May we very soon feel free from the fear of bloody armed conflict.

Joe Biden, The Manchurian Candidate

The Manchurian Candidate is a 1962 movie starring Frank Sinatra about a Communist Chinese “sleeper agent” planted in our country curing the Cold War, to get elected President so the Chinese Community Party could control our country.  The movie was re-made in 2004 starring Denzel Washington.  The movie is chilling.  The movie became more chilling in 2018, when we learned that Senator Diane Feinstein (Vice Chair of Senate Intelligence Committee and member of Senate Judiciary Committee) had a Chinese spy on her staff for two decades.

Today, some of us wonder whether Joe Biden is the sleeper agent of 2020.  A treasure trove of undisputed evidence indicates he might be.  While he was Vice President, China took our industries, trade, and jobs.  He repeatedly flew with his son Hunter to China on Air Force 2, to collect a $1+ billion windfall in exchange for explicit influence peddling.  A treasure trove of documents has surfaced to prove all this, and it’s entirely undisputed by Joe and Hunter Biden.

Some of us don’t worry about Joe Biden being a sleeper agent, but do worry about his being easily blackmailed.  The treasure trove of documents about Joe and Hunter Biden collecting $3+ million from the wife of the former Mayor of Moscow, tens of millions of dollars from corrupt Ukraine oligarchs, $1+ billion from Communist-affiliated Chinese nationals is devastating — as is Vice President Joe Biden withholding $1 billion of US aid to Ukraine to get a Ukraine corruption prosecutor fired.  Pictures of Hunter Biden & cocaine & a sex romp are devastating.  Why?  Simple.  What if Joe Biden were President?  What if President Joe Biden were blackmailed by the bad guys around the world who have the evidence (photos, cancelled checks, contracts, videos, photo ops with Vice President Joe Biden)?  The bad guys around the world would own America.

Some of us don’t worry about Joe Biden being a sleeper agent and don’t worry about his being blackmailed, but do worry about his ability to make good decisions.  What good decision-maker engages in all this bad behavior, fails to successfully cover it up, fails to deny any of it when the evidence surfaces, and continues to preach that he is honest and moral?  Is that the kind of decision-maker who is best able to be the leader of the free world, uphold the Constitution, and be a role model for our children?

When NBC news anchor Savannah Guthrie asked Joe Biden about the documentary evidence that surfaced, he did not deny any of it.  Instead, he denigrated her with “You don’t know what you’re talking about.”  Is that really the best he’s got?  Is that really the best we voters deserve?

Please, Joe Biden … please explain why the apparently devastating evidence against your son and you is not true … or please withdraw from the Presidential campaign and allow America to move forward in peace.

On Election Day 2020, may we all remember the patriotic passion of Frank Sinatra and Denzel Washington that saved America from The Manchurian Candidate.

Government Takes, It Does Not Give

Nothing is free — certainly not government.

According to one website (yes, internet research is questionable), America’s federal government spends $1 million every minute.  States, counties, municipalities, and public schools add to that.

The money comes from us.  Our payments are not voluntary.  Government takes our money by threat of incarceration, property confiscation, and wage garnishment.  We have no choice — we have to pay for their private jets — we have to pay for their occupation of Iraq.

Government is a necessary evil.  Certainly government is necessary — think about what the lack of government looked like in the government-free zone that Seattle ceded to Black Lives Matter.  Certainly government is evil — think about the distrust, disdain, and venom with which our government leaders clobber each other non-stop.

So, how do we balance the two sides of this coin — necessity and evil?  Well, first we must ask ourselves a question.  What does government do for us?  The answer is easy.  Nothing!  Seriously, the answer is nothing.

Government disagrees.  It says it provides us with military protection, poverty relief, and education, just to name a few “benefits”.  Balderdash!  We provide ourselves with all those “benefits”, and with every “benefit”.  Government merely is the mechanism we use to provide ourselves with our “benefits”.  Government takes seemingly limitless sums of money from us, then government takes its cut so it can maintain itself in the standard of living it deems appropriate, and then government spends what’s left to pay for the “benefits” that we bought for ourselves with our own money.

We can debate ad nauseam about whether government takes too large a cut, or whether government spends our money wisely.  However, there can be no good faith debate about where the money comes from.  The money, all the money, comes from us.

Government is our beneficiary, not vice versa.

Which leaves us with the question that matters most.  Why do we let government govern us?  We should govern government.  It’s our money!  The money should be for us to give, not for government to take.

The next time government tells you that we should spend $1+ trillion on anything, call your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and ask them if they can afford it.

Turn Off the Noise

The 2020 campaign for President began on Election Day 2016 (actually, earlier). For 4 years, experts and pundits have flooded us all-day every-day with all-but-certain 2020 Election Day analysis and 2020 Election Day results. Along the way, they’ve introduced some new tricks: The Resistance, impeachment, peaceful protests that include mayhem and murder, ceding a portion of Seattle to revolutionaries, designating our Founding Fathers as genetically pre-determined White supremacists, an FBI insurance policy designed to undo the will of the voters, the demise of the Fourth Estate, and a Presidential candidate who (if elected) will be removed from office soon after Inauguration Day pursuant to the 25th Amendment.

The new tricks are mere supplements to the long-standing game of politics: Keep the public’s eye off the ball, as the wealthy become wealthier and the powerful become more powerful.

Democrats promise to re-make America, but into what? Republicans promise to stop the Democrats, but do nothing to stop them. The Fourth Estate promises to keep us informed, but informed is Newspeak for uninformed. Promises, promises. We’re still waiting for Barak Obama to “regain America’s moral stature in the world” by honoring his promise to close Guantanamo. We’re still waiting for the Middle East to greet us as “liberators”, as promised by Dick Cheney. Those promises made us feel so good, that we never gave a second thought to whether they were true.

What does all this say about us? With all due respect, it says we’re the ones to blame. We could have prevented it all, but we were too busy amusing ourselves with the love lives and intrigue of Hollywood, the glitz of social media, and the venom spewed by experts and pundits. We preferred to empower the noise instead of empowering ourselves. Thinking our own thoughts, feeling our own feelings, and believing our own beliefs was too much of a burden for us. It was easier for us to let experts and pundits tell us what to think, feel, and believe. It was easier for us to listen to the noise.

It’s not too late to prevent Brave New World, Animal Farm, and 1984 from becoming our reality. Turn off the noise, now.
