On January 22, 2021, an FBI Agent signed a Complaint And Affidavit under oath, for filing in in the United States District Court in Brooklyn. It is a criminal Complaint against Douglass Mackey. On January 27, 2021, Douglass Mackey was arrested.
The FBI Agent swore that Douglass Mackey violated Title 18, United States Code, Section 241. Section 241 says:
If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same; or
If two or more persons go in disguise on the highway, or on the premises of another, with intent to prevent or hinder his free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege so secured —
They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.
The FBI Agent swore that Douglass Mackey violated Section 241 by his “use of social media to spread disinformation relevant to the impending 2016 Presidential Election”. The FBI Agent swore that spreading disinformation about the election “constituted criminal infringement of the right to vote”.
Really? If only those sworn statements were true AND always were criminally enforced against every politician and every member of the media.
Doesn’t the FBI know that Barak Obama spread disinformation during the 2008 Presidential election?
- ”The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.” (He bombed at least seven Middle East nations.)
- Signing Statements are a “clear abuse” of Executive power. (He used many Signing Statements.)
- “I’ve said repeatedly that I intend to close Guantanamo and I will follow through on that. I’ve said repeatedly that America doesn’t torture, and I’m going to make sure that we don’t torture. Those are part and parcel of an effort to regain America’s moral stature in the world.” (He did not close Guantanamo.)
Douglass Mackey is not Barak Obama.
